Yea. If I do decide to hold onto the car longer I plan on getting a 87 Octane tune. Everyone seems to like 93 the best but I cant afford to keep filling up with premium for a daily driver.

What I am trying to say is DO AN INTAKE/TUNE COMBO FOR $579 INSTEAD OF GEARS FOR $500+ + THE RISK OF GETTING WHINE

Your telling me you dont even have an intake/tune combo but you want to go with gears? Why in the world would anyone ever do that. First of all if you do gears your speedo is going to be messed up which A TUNE WILL FIX.

LOL.
Seriously thinking about it if I save my $$ for another two years when I get ready to get out of school or near it I'm just going to buy a Corvette or M3. are a newer Z06. I know I'll have plenty of money to get the standard COrvette which is still a damn fast car.

I put 3:55's in my 90 & bought my 08 purposely with 3:55's. However, I went F/I with both. If you are going to stay N/A, go with 4:10's as others have said.

You kinda answered your question about getting FI. You have to get 92 or higher octane to run FI.

I have 3.90s and love em. The American muscle tuner/gear combo should be the first mod for any mustang. And even with 4.10s your top speed at 6000 rpm is 160 mph with a t45 so I really wouldn't worry about the top end
