Oil leaking from rear shock absorbers
Hey guys what would cause my shocks to start leaking oil? My 2010 GT only has about 1,300 miles on it and this morning I notice the oil on the pavement. I looked under the car and could see the oil had come down from the shock.

Possibly faulty part from the factory, in which case you can bring it in for work under warranty.
Other than that, damage to the shocks. Really hard bumps?

1,300 miles would be covered under 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty. The cause is bad road surfaces.

Faulty parts. Get them replaced under warranty.

Cheap shocks, common problem on our cars. Real easy to replace... I just went aftermarket, lifetime warranty and better ride :-)

My front struts were replaced after 7 months.
Both leakers.
Rear shocks were replaced after 2 years.
1 leaker.
Warranty replacements.
