Default Broke my rear end. Pics...

So looks like the rear couldn't hold up to a 4500rpm launch and the tires actually sticking...

This happened yesterday after my 11.3 run at 124mph. I had launched the first run at 3500rpm and wanted more out of it. So the next run. 4500rpm. Bam!!! Broken ****.

Today I pulled the old rear end and replaced it. Now I have to get some 4.10's put back in, but at least the car was only down for a day.

What did you repalce it with and what was your 60'?

I put a locker a long time ago. It's noisey but I am not worried about breaking anything back there.

1.69 60ft.

The guys that don't know what they are looking at. The top of the pic you will see a gear with big teeth. Just below it in the pic you will see a series of 4 smaller gears. They should all look the same. The gear just below the big one has had the teeth on it all sheered away.

Looks like time for a 9in rear end with the appropriate gears!

Wow, that is the first time I have seen spiders with teeth nearly shorn off clean to the base. What kind of torque are yo pumping out at the wheels?
