I hate where the prices are going because I can use those extra bucks elsewhere, but coming from the Netherlands I still laugh at 4 and even 5 dollar per gallon gas. When I left it was in between 8 and 9 a gallon. I run 89 here.

Double dip recession... here we come!

Kinda glad I didn't spend the $400 to tune and buy 93 octane.

They kinda got us by the short hairs, don't they?

-94 with Steeda Custom tune. Car is parked for the winter but fuel price here is over 1.30 per liter (over 5.20 a gallon) for 94 so hopefully it goes down over the winter before I bring the car out again.

No offense, but it really surprises me how many folks don't think or believe that an 87 custom tune is worth running. Yeah, it doesn't quite give as much "punch" of the higher octane tunes but it still is impressive. Considering that a good 87 custom tune is about a 60-80% improvement over stock as compared to a good 93 octane tune, my feeling is that if I can only afford 87 octane, I'm going to run an 87 custom tune with a CAI that'll give me at least 15 RWHP over the stock tune. The Brenspeed and AM 87 combos do that, easy.

I have an 87 octane street tune. When 93 octane hits $4/ gal, I will be loading that one up.
