Help me choose my mid-life crisis 'Stang

Welcome to the board!
There is a button called "New thread" on the left side of the page.
It is a black rectangular button with a pic of a manila folder with a sheet of paper sticking out of it.
To find it, scroll down some until you see on the left side of the page

I'd go with the Bullitt. It is a great car and has the best stock setup of the 05-09 Mustangs.
Dont get caught up in the "you can make it as fast as a 5.0" crap... It's not worth it. The 4.6 is great as is, and trying to add 100+ hp is just going to cause problems in the long run. Trust me..all I thought about was making up the 100hp difference between my 4.0 and the 4.6. In the end, it's just not worth it for a daily driver. I waited patiently...and my reward was stepping up 200 hp
Something to consider, the 2010s have a better suspension than the 2005/2009... borrowed from the Bullitt.
Personally, the Bullitt is easily one of the best looking Mustangs. Put staggered wheels on that thing, and it screams Old School!

Yes the Bullitt....
...my DHG '08 with Steeda sports and Tokico adjustables.
By the way, I'm way past mid-life at age 68.

I'm finally in a position to replace the '94 Cobra I had to get rid of last century and in my initial researching models I found an '08 Bullitt to drive, and I instantly fell in love. That said, I haven't followed Mustangs very closely in years so I have a few questions before I settle on a target.
I'm planning on getting a V-8 stick, 2008-2010. I'm a noob to the modding scene but not to turning a wrench so I'd expect to do a few mods to a non-Bullitt model but I'm not sure I'd be inclined to go past CAI, tune , gears, exhaust in the short-run which the Bullitt has (mostly) covered. Given that, are there good reasons in for choosing a non-Bullitt model and modding vs just taking the package deal?

Also, any value in a tuner for the Bullitt if I'm not going to change any hardware?
Other things I should be considering?
Welcome aboard. And BTW, if you're looking to buy it because it's the right car at the right time, it's not crisis.
