Default stock intake doesn't look to seal to well (pics)

Took a pic of my heads after taking the intake off for my SC install. Car only has 14K miles on it and I haven't touched the intake. I was really suprised to see all the blow by when I removed the stock intake. The below pic was taken after wiping it with a rag to get the liquid off.

Looks like the drivers side bank was worse than the passenger side. Anyone else see this?

Pretty common in these cars. It's not just from blow-by but I think it's just inherent due to the design of the valve covers and overhead valve set-up in our cars. I had oil dripping from my intake manifold when I took it off to install my e-force blower. It's another reason to install at the least an oil catch can.

On our cars when running a closed PCV system the driver's side valve cover is where the oil vapor is coming from but when you breathe the system it switches to the passenger side that the vapors mainly come from since there's a built in pcv valve inside the driver's side valve cover. I just recently disassembled my valve covers completely and cut out the pcv valve so both sides will breathe openly into an oil breather catch can I have.

Wow. Anyone N/A running a catch can? Just wondering if it would be worth doing.

It's not just blow by, Ford runs oil through their intake manifolds through PCV system. Your blower kit should have a oil "catch can" or oil "separator", if for some reason it doesn't GET ONE.
