Default 2010 GTs still available

I was at the dealer earlier today having my oil changed and noticed that there were two new 2010 GTs on the lot. Just thought I'd pass the info on to anyone who is interested.

Dealer Name: Maroone Ford of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Just curious, how much are they asking for them? I'm obviously not a potential buyer but this peaks my interest.

New or not, it is a two year old car in perfect condition for all intents and purposes. Other than being eligible for new car financing rates rather than used ....

Just bought my new 2010 GT last week. Shopped around a bit in the Kansas City region and it seemed like once you got down to it dealers would give $7500 off sticker and do the incentive financing or $9000 off sticker if you didn't use the Ford financing. In my case a car that stickered for $35,500 I got for $26,500. Not saying I got some incredible deal as it is indeed going to be a two year old car (by model year) pretty quickly, but for a 'new' fully loaded GT with 71 miles on it I'm pretty happy with it.

That's a bit excessive! Good luck to that dealer getting that stang off the lot!

There is a thread in OT about how the dealers just aren't moving Mustangs maybe its because they aren't willing to come down on them.
The dealer in my town has a '10 GT500 and an '11 V6 sitting on the lot that have been there for over a yr. They recently moved the GT500 outside to sit by the V6... bad marketing decision.

Same here. Dealers still have new 2010s sitting on the lot for nearly full sticker price. They're not moving at all.

Recently I noticed one dealer had a new 2009 GT still in stock and still wanting a hefty price!

The Mustang Gts are not moving well around here also at all. I live in a major city and have only seen TWO 5.0s since they came out last spring! Have seen very little of the v6 ones also.

Yet I'm seeing a lot of Challengers, and a lot of Camaro SSs driving around.

Sounds like the dealers need to pull their heads out of their butts.
