So I am hoping that someone one here can help me fix or prevent further damage to my gauge cluster. The black coating is starting to peel away on my 2007 mustang....I bought the car used and noticed that it was slightly bubbled up, and have since parked the car in my garage everyday. This morning I went to wipe down the interior of the car and a few pieces of the black plastic covering peeled away and now there are ugly silver spots left where the plastic used to be...my question is how do i fix this and prevent it from getting worse...I can post pictures if that would help
I can think of either removing them standing them completely clean of paint, priming and repainting them...or replacing them. I mean, if it's bubbling then it's just going to keep coming off...
any sort of trim kit or something similar that is known that could possible cover the damage while also preventing it from getting worse? and is it for sure paint?
