Stinger or Fr500s Exhaust Advice?

I'm wanting to change my exhaust. I'm running the Bullitt exhaust on a fairly stock AUTO GT. I added the Bullitts last summer and could tell a good difference between them and my factory exhaust. The only changes I've really done is K&N Intake with SCT tuner. After friends of mine suggested I need it to sound a little better I decided to look into exhausts. The Stinger and FR500s seem to be my top picks. Magnaflow and Flowmaster was automatically voted out because no matter what their on they sound the same. Ive had just a few people say the Stingers are louder than the FR500s and some say Fr500s are louder. My car gets drove everyday and I'm not wanting something to be obnoxious with drone and the Stingers I've heard has a history of having a drone. I've listened to sound clips on youtube and I'm really leaning toward the 500s. Does anyone have any feedback to help me make my decision?

I have the Stingers and, yes, they DO drone a bit, mainly in the 1500-1900 RPM range. I rarely cruise at that speed so it's usually not an issue. On occasion, the drone bothers me more than it bothers my g/f (hope I don't need to turn in my man-card for that) but I don't regret them one bit. They DO sound excellent at WOT!

I have stingers and like nuke said there is some drone at low RPMs, but I only notice it when its in a higher gear and under load. They sound great though.

I dont mind it at all, you are able to quickly get out of the drone RPM anyway. I enjoy the sound. Here is my vid as Stingers as the ONLY mod.

I just installed the Stinger cat back last night. It sounds great with the stock mid pipe. I had a Pypes MM with an offroad x for a while so my perception of "loud" and "drone" is a little distorted. I can say that the Borla fits and looks 1000000% better than the mid muffler system. After I installed the Stingers last night I took it for a test drive and when I got back my wife said "Wow, it actually sounds like a mustang", referring to the NASCAR sound that was coming out of the mid muffler, even with the stock h pipe. I think the mid muffler was a little louder with the stock mid pipe, but I think the quality of the sound from the Stingers is waaaay better. After my inspection today the O/R x will go back on but I think the Stingers sound fantastic with the stock h pipe. My neighbor has the FR500 and they sound similar but I think the Stingers are deeper, which may be why they tend to drone more.

i vote for the fr500's
very similar if not the same as KR mufflers
i've never heard the fr500's in person, but i have heard the KR mufflers
if they are the same, they sound very good. deep and loud when you get on it and not too loud just cruising. not raspy at all.

A friend of mine has the Borla verson of the stinger, Which FRPP and Borla are the same what I hear. He says he has a bad drone but loves them. He also dont drive his car everyday. The Mustang GT axle back Fr500 test video is what really turned me on to the FR500 but I was afraid they will be too loud for everyday driving but also hear they have absolutly no drone at cruising speed.

if you have the stock midpipe, it won't be that loud.

Yeah my stock exhaust manifold and h-pipe are in place. I don't think I'm gonna change those
