My right foot gets more cramped than my left. This clutch is really light, as others have said. I don't tailgate in traffic.. so I really haven't had any issues in traffic. Coming from an auto, I was also worried about this. I just give myself a little more room now... and often start in second and/or coast a lot in traffic.

Also in metro D and totally agree. Thought about an auto for about a week... would have been A HUGE mistake! I love the manual, even in traffic.

My '11 is my first automatic and I love it. While I enjoy banging the gears in my early fastback now and again, the automatic truly is much better suited to me for my commute. To be honest, the difference between these modern transmissions and even those from a decade ago are night and day. BTW, adding the Brenspeed tune mad a huge improvement in throttle response and shift points. Love it.

I have an Auto for a DD and love it. If I want to drive a stick my Dad usually lets me take his GT500 out for a spin on the weekends (I'm 38). Love both an auto and stick for different reasons, but rush hour traffic and a stick just wear me out.

.... and I never miss a shift, ever!

I also think a manual is easier to drive in the snow and ice (as I wake up to 4 inches of new snow ugh). You have more torque control. Kind of important for a DD 'Stang in Michigan.
