Default 2012 hitting the lots. Any deals on 2011s?

I noticed some of the dealers by me are getting the 2012 GTs in.

I was curious soon will there be good deals on the 2011 just like they did with 2010? I mean could I get tons off sticker price like some are getting with left over 2010s?

Probably not since they are pretty much the same car.
The 2010s and 2011s don't have the same engine, so of course people got great deals on 2010s.

I figure the 2012 have the bugs worked out of them. I'm still eyeing the Camaro possibly too because there are more used 2010 ones.

When I go to the university in the fall I want to look fancy.

Just ask your dad to buy it....I'm sure some other jealous spoiled brat will key it in the first week anyway.

True, but they're going to still give deals on 2011's still just because they want to move their inventory to now sell the 2012's and get rid of the 11's, regardless of the engine vs 2010's engines.

In all neutrality, to answer the question, and being as objective as possible, for the 2011 GTs, no there are no deals on them except maybe a $1500 incentive off the sticker.

If you have A,D,X-plan and qualify as law enforcement and military service, you can get maybe an additional $3K off guaranteed.

Other than that, you will have to wait until August or September to get the dealers to offer additional incentives on top of the $1500 universal Ford incentive.

But as said above, since the 2011 and 2012 GTs are almost identical (except for variable electronic steering and color choice, and maybe a few other minor things), no, I personally don't see that big of incentives coming to the '11 GTs, even to move them off the lot.
