It's an awesome kit and will make as much power as the normal Saleen (which is a lot)
Yeah, finally researched it a bit, lacking quite a bit in comparison to the two the OP had in mind, power wise. Shame that canīt be mated with one of the more powerful SCīs. I like the idea of RAM air in conjunction.

Hadnīt really researched these much, as I canīt afford the initial cost and upgrades, let alone if the worst happens.. Seriously jealous though.

lol I don't blame you.. the higher end kits cost about as much as it would to go fully built motor. Of course you'll be pretty much bullet proof (with the right fuel mods and correct tune), but you'll then have to dish out the additional funds for a supercharger kit. It helps if you do your own work.. if not, then I'd rely on any of the superchargers on the market on moderate boost...

trust me.. the M90/500hp kit would keep a lot of people happy. I had only 360whp on average on my non-intercooled kit and I was very happy with it.

hehe Ive been wound up for days now getting everything in order for this, it's been a long time coming and ALOT of SC threads that have made me jealous when I read them. I am leaing towards the Roush and have been for awhile now but I have to agree, cant go wrong with either kit. In the long run it may have to just come down to who gives the best price.

Where are you doing your research? The SuperShaker kit won't produce any less HP than a standard Saleen unit? Infact the SuperShaker claims are that it produces more horsepower than the standard Saleen intake.

It was a comparison to the OPīs 2, which he listed in the first post. The SS gives an added 150. So low 400s or so RWHP?

The roush gives:
ĻCustom tunable - boost HP to 525-700 Ļ

The stage 2 saleen gives:
500 I think it lists.

Of course theyīre not stating RWHP, but flywheel, but Iīd expect it to still be a bit more RWHP in the end with either from whatīs stated, no?

To base you decision on which is the better unit to purchase, I personally would base my choice on the compressor map.

If it is okay fro me to link to another site, the only R2300 TVS compressor map I could find was from this site:
http://www.fnsweet.com/forums/05-09-...r2300-m90.html

As for a compressor map for the Saleen one, I could not find anything.

But if the Saleen unit's compressor map is just like the Roush unit's map, I say the decision in reduced down to price, which the R2300 has the advantage on then.

Well I am not biased against either brand as I am a turbo guy but if it were me I would definitely go with the TVS over the Saleen. Newer technology, I think a better design, more room for growth and it runs cooler iat's. I would also highly recommend getting a custom tune for whichever one you choose.
