Steering wheel change?

I have a base 2011 v6 mustang. It only controls the cruise control. If I put a different wheel in that has the controls for the stereo as well, will it work?

no you will have to swap out your head unit to a shaker one for the steering wheel controls to work but you will lose your aux. input though

Thank you for the information. Looks like I will keep it the way it is.....at least for now.
