Yeah I remember seeing a post on one of the websites where a guy did to a coyote swap into his 05-09. There were pics and everything. I don't recall where it was.
Now that I know this is possible and doesnt seem too complicated and the motor price has dropped 1000.00 I think this is more fun that doing a 306 crate motor.
Indeed, and since it has been over a year now, the Coyote 5.0 is much more readily available not just through sellers selling crate engines, but also salvage yards from morons who were stupid enough to wreck their cars.
And with 390ft-lbf at the crank, that is easily more than what a crate 306 would do. Well, that is if you dont really build up the 306 from what it is out of the crate.
