Default Anyone know where i can get headrests? (saleen maybe?)

I just placed a bid on some awesome roush leather seat covers and although there is still 4.5 days left im praying im not outbid. If i do win i was told i will need headrest covers as they arent included. Does anyone know where i can find either oem leather headrests or the saleen ones? or perhaps anything similar. Google didnt turn up much

You could check Teamshelby.com.. I believe they have a supplier for the covers.

Which set did you bid on? I just looked at all the sets that have a bid and I see headrest covers in the pics. What am I missing? I don't want to bid if they are missing parts.

I promise not to bid on yours...

I bid on the RTC black with red stitching ones. I was told that the reason they say it fits the leather seats only is because it doesnt include the headrests

The vented Saleen headrests are hard to come by, but they do pop up for sale once in a while in the classifieds and ebay. I snagged a set about 18 months ago, but just happened to see the ad right when the guy posted them.

If the ones I just saw on ebay are the same set you bid on, looks like those have a different side bolster foam as the stock GT seats do not look like that. I would double check these are a direct fit, otherwise you will need to find new foam.

Thanks Shadow.

That's interesting because one of the pictures clearly shows headrest covers. Usually they have verbage that says "not inlcuded", or "pictures are only representive and not actual product".

RTC's are sharp. I'm holding out for the Charcoal/Red combo, but need to check on headrest now.

I wonder what it would cost you to have your stock ones restiched red?

I have a set that were part of a take-off that I put in my car. They are the rear seat headrests though and apparently there must be some button on those. (Mine doesn't have rear headrests.) There are perfectly round holes on one side of each of them. You could cover them with something cool. The rear seat backs obviously have holes too where the rods go in. I covered those with some Ford Oval shaped stainless steel cabinet hardware. (Hard to explain). They're free to you for shipping. I have no use for them.

In the ones im bidding on it shows pics of the foam inserts so im assuming they are included. It says it only fits stangs with OEM leather but i asked around here and a few people have bought from them and said that the fit the only difference is that the headrest isnt included and thats why they are for oem leather since it already has leather headrests. I love the way those RTC seats look and im really hoping to get them in and installed for only $300 + headrests
