Default RTR vs TSW nurburgring

I've narrowed my wheel choice to these last 2 -- RTRs and TSW Nurburgring (along with everyone else and their mother)

I appreciate the attempts to show different wheels, but I've looked through thousands of threads, seen hundreds of wheels, and these are my last two choices despite being the opposite of unique.

That being said, here's my dilemma...which one? Cost is a wash. I've found them both mounted to the tires i want (nitto 555), balanced, and shipped for $2150 (including tpms).

The RTRs have a backspacing of +33. The TSW have a backspacing of +41. The tires are 275/35/19 for all 4 (i was gonna do staggard, but i want to be able to rotate them). I have a 1.5" drop with Steeda sport springs and koni str.t struts.

I like the look of the RTR's better, but I dont want the 275/35/19 tires to stick out at all and potentially rub the fender (especially with the 1.5" drop). So the real question is will the 275/35/19 rub with the +33 offset of the RTRs. If they will, I'll go TSW. If they wont, I want the RTRs.

Thanks!! Oh yeah... pics of those with the same setup would be awesome. I dont need to see your 18" wheels with 275's, I dont need to see wheels that arent RTR or nurburgring.

I didn't realize that the RTR's had a backspacing of 33.....do they offer them in any other backspaces??

I've personally seen them on a new 5.0 and they were awesome.

No the rtr's are only made one way. No variation. And yes, they do look awesome which is why I want them. I know they fit lots of mustangs but not sure about my specific setup

The TSW's are lighter and come in more options. They look very similar as to the RTR's and SVTPP wheels. I'd go with the TSW's.

Please don't forget my actual question. The question isn't about What looks better, its about what FITS better in my configuration 275/35/19 and 1.5" drop). Thanks for your opinions though. I like both wheels.

It's already known the offset on the RTR's is not optimal and many don't like the look. But not many, if any, have complained about tires rubbing so you should be fine with 275's if you buy the RTR's.

In the same boat as you..... let me know what you end up with.. the decision process is exhausting.

The RTRs only come with 33mm offset (not backspacing); backspacing is 6.5 inches. They might work fine for 275 tires, but could be marginal for 285 tires on a lowered car. For comparison, my stock GT500 wheels have an offset of 45mm and the outer wall of the rear 285 tire is just about even with the fender.

I went tsw for better offsets and to get 18's. Mine are 40mm rear and are dead flush with no overhang.

I got the Drag DR-37 in 19x8 fronat and 19x9.5 rear..if you wanted 19x9.5 rear these come in a 40mm offset so they wont have a chance of sticking out like the RTR might..They look almost exactly like the RTR as well.
But you dont want to see wheels of anything else..So you can make sure you havnt looked at all the options and keep yourself closed minded.
