Default How do Control Arms Effect the ride

I have wheel hop issues just like everyone else on here and I was thinking about getting some Upper and Lower control arms. So how do they effect the ride of the car and which company do you guys recomend going with.

I got rid of the 'hop' with just Roush rear springs and Roush rear shocks.

Some greater NVH with aftermarket arms because the bushings are
stiffer and the construction is more substantial over the OEM stamped
arms. If you do go arms, BMR is the best hands down.

The C.H.E. control arms have no ill affects on ride due to their unique construction over every other manufacturer. IMEO they are the best around.

Before I traded of the 06, I installed JLM lower control arms and they completed eliminated my wheel hop. Worth every penny. I already had roush lowering springs on it which helped the rear end from sagging too much on a launch, but I could get wheel hop still, just not as bad.

Forget the upper, just buy a set of rear lower control arms. I went with the BMR non-adjustable poly LCA's, eliminated the wheelhop completely.

You can get adjustables if you plan on lowering your ride in the near future, but the non-adjustables aren't much more than 100$

BWfVA, decide first if you mainly want straight line only improved performance, or road handling and cornering. The stiff tubular BMR LCA's are not what you want for accelerating out of hard cornering, you want LCA's that have some torque flex, otherwise too stiff will land you sideways. Erik

Front control arms? As in the control arms that are part of the front suspension? They don't go "bad", they may get bent if you hit something and the bushings can wear. But in normal use the front control arms will last the life of the car. If they are bent then your best bet is to replace with factory parts.
