OMG ok so i love my car, but i am really digging a competition orange boss 302 with the recaros. Me want. i am so, so thinking about trading my car in on one...

Trade in value in my area is close to my pay off thanks to the serious deal i got on the car. At worst i am 2K upside down in the car. i know mods don't count for much in most opinions, but surely with all that is on the car i could get pay off. I don't want to mess around with private party deals or sales. i do have my original wheels and tires in storage so i could get most of what i am in the hole back off selling the wheels and tires that wont fit a boss anyway. the blower would be a write off for me though. Payment would only be $100 more than i pay now... OMG stop me! lol I've already talked to the sales man i bought my car form, he can order me what i want. suck is the boss is full MSRP around here at best. wonder how long it wodl take to build and ship... My cams havent even got here yet and i just noticed brenspeed has a fracking 20% restock fee if I send them stright back with the damn box unopened. that's robbery right there.

i have no illusions on cars, i play and then get bored, i will never keep any car for ten or 15 years, its not in me. i wont miss the money invested in my current car if i trade up. That's sort of like missing money spent golfing or another hobby. I'm trying to find out what the lead time is on a custom order for a boss, at least 3 months? anybody know? i do know other than the wheels that i can easily take off and the billet stuff all the rest will go with the car. I refuse to take a loss and pay some asinine $5k markup on a boss. Sticker will be hard enough. i do love my car though! i am a bit pissed that it will cost me $160 to return those brenspeed DRs i ordered if i trade up, they will get here wednesday.

Sorry that's not what I meant. I basically meant would you regret not getting the car when you had the chance. Nothing towards the amount of time you keep the car.

I know a dealer near me already has one sitting in the show room.
I would just go talk to that salesmen and ask him.
