I just received my JLT+SCT combo from American Muscle. I can't wait to see how the car runs after I do the install. I have an off-road Prochamber on my car with Pypes catalytic converters welded in. (Came with the car) My CEL is on with the P0420 catalyst code. I called AM and they said they would write the tune as if the car has off-road exhaust on it. My question is should I unhook the battery and clear the code before I install the tune or should I just install the tune as-is and use it to clear the code? I haven't had much experience with the tuners and I just want to make sure it won't hurt anything to install it if you already have the CEL. Thanks!

Hook up the SCT tuner clear the code with that then load up the new tune.
