Sorry for the late response, but the reason I am not doing it myself is cause my impact gun just broke and with the 30 - 40 degree temps its miserable to work on my car. I was hoping it would be like $25 - $40, but at $100 im better off just buying a new impact gun and doing it myself, or trying a muffler shop.

I've taken every piece of my exhaust off of my car and I've never used an impact wrench. 3/8 or 1/2" ratchet only. Not even a breaker bar.

Only place you'd get the car up on a lift and worked on for $25-$40 is if you had a buddy with a lift.

I would try out a muffler shop. Sounds like an easy adjustment....you might get away with tipping the tech $20 or $40 bucks....depending?

Car looks great in the pic!

I have no problem doing it myself (impact gun or not) I love working on the car. I just thought it would be easier to just pay to have in done instead of crawl under the car and lay on the driveway and mess around with it for a while when it would be 10x easier and faster with a lift. I will try a muffler shop (if I can find one in my area), or just wait till it gets a bit warmer out and just do it myself.

And thanks daredevil!!

Open a performance shop, see the actual expenses
involved and then get back to us with your "rant".
Evidently you cannot do this yourself so you must
'pay to play'. Or rent an instructional video and give
it a go.
Or go do what you do best at YOUR job, work an extra
5 hours this week and pay the darn $100 to someone
else who also does THEIR job very well (adjusting pipes).
The money just kinda goes around in a circle and
everyone is happy.

I have no problem doing it myself, I installed the header I think I can adjust the pipes. Its just the fact that I'm tight for time and its freezing out lately so I figured I'd throw someone with a lift 40 bucks and have it done. Didnt expect to get quotes of 100+
