Default Another $505 towards my car...

Just picked up some Roush RTC leather seat covers
Black leather with black suede inserts and red stitching.
Should look sick especially if i ever get around to putting in a black suede headliner!
Here is a pic of the same seats.
Probably could have gotten them a bit cheaper (last one on ebau sold for $355 + 50 shipping and there is another set that ends in 7 minutes thats at $350+50 at the moment but the one i just got shot up $100 at the last minute so we will see)

Roush is selling a decent amount of leather seat covers on ebay at the moment and from what ive read here and was told from Roush the only thing needed to install them on non leather seats is a new passenger airbag sensor

Hopefully gonna install them in a couple weeks when i get a weekend away from school

Wow! Those are great looking seat covers! About how long and how difficult is it to install them?

No clue, the pic is just one i googled. I literally just bought them on ebay.
The second set went for $507+50 shipping so i did save a little bit!

Roush's installation manual is quite helpful though, it shows just about everything. The back seats look very eassy and the front backrests do as well.

For anyone looking for seats I'd check out ebay right now RoushPerformance has been selling quite a few, some as low at $300 shipped and many of them are nice looking! Hard to beat considering OEM leathers used to sell for $300 from NTO.

Im sure my mom will be ready to kill me if she finds out what i paid but its worth it to me! I was quite sad when NTO stopped carrying the 05-09 leathers as I have wanted them for a long time.

Ill be sure to post more once i figure out installation. I think the suede headliner and the fact that my car is read will make these seats looks amazing.

If anyone else was interested they dont seem to have as many listed at the moment but here are the same ones i got with orange stitching instead of red
I have seen these listed a couple times i think, no one seems to like the orange. If it works for you then you could pick em up for 250!

Check out their store, they have a couple others but i think its either this style with the orange or plain black leather (still nice!)
Also I cant vouch for the quality until i actually get mine but a few other users here said they bought them and love them.

We messed up when we let the ones go a couple of weeks ago without anyone bidding on them at $250 huh?

I ended up with Charcoal/Red for $250 plus $50 shipping. They are for a 'vert and I spent another $100 for coupe rear seat backs so they will fit in mine.

The RTC's look awesome. Congrats!

Yep...
I found out they would have fit just after the auction ended. Then on another pair i was outbid at literally the last second and they went for 355+50 shipping.

Have you received or installed yours yet?
The more I look at the picture I posted the more excited I get.
There was a nice black with grey set that had no bits until the last hour that i wouldnt have minded but the RTC is just too nice to miss out on

Anyone have any info on the OCS service kit? I was told that was the only additional part needed to install these on cloth seats. Is it something i can get at the dealership? And is it cheap?

Also is it really needed? I was told it was a new passenger airbag sensor designed for the leather instead of the cloth. Is it really that much of a difference between materials that you need another sensor??

Lastly, if anyone has more info on how to install the front seats i would appreciate it. Ive looked over the installation guide from Roush and the back seats look like a piece of cake but the front seats use hog rings and i dont really understand what they do or how they are used. The roush guide just shows a pneumatic gun being held to the foam and leather

Check out Katzkin's Youtube video. It shows using the hog rings a little better.

Mine show as out to be delivered on UPS website. Should have them when I get home.

Your picture of the RTC's show them better than the auction pictures did. I like them even more now.

Put a GT500 shift boot on your to do list, maybe the wheel too. Red stitching would go great with your covers.
