Don't worry about the guy above beig a "buzz kiler" the motor has extensive work to it & does have a vortec....it puts down 439 RWHP & weighs 2800lbs, so if you do the math, it is definitely worth it!

I'd be so tempted to restore it to original with the lights and siren. I'm sure regs change from state to state, etc... but I read that one place you can restore them to cop trim but you cant drive it on the street unless you have a special permit and it's clearly marked with out of service or something similar. Once its on private property you can do whatever you want.

He has a point....depends on profit/margin....lots of people would buy the LX version over the base. Just depends on where the most profit could be made?
If they price to low....then who would buy all the lease cars being returned after 27/36 month lease....they don't want to cut into that segment....maybe?
