I've been looking for a model kit for a 2005-2009 GT with the factory hood scoop and the 18" polished Aluminum wheels. I did find a Revell 2008 with the Bullett wheels (just like mine, but darker color...could be painted) but their 2006 GT has no hood scoop. Any suggestions?

I couldn't find any with the factory hoodscoop.. diecast either - short of a roush or shelby..

info on the model - i had to end up putting like 4 different models together, first you need a Revell 1/25th scale 2006 GT model, then my rims and CAI are from a Revell 2006 GT-H Shelby model and the rear louvers i had to hand make from 2 sets of 1970 Boss 429 models (they weren't wide enough) the rear spoiler, hood & scoop, 1/4 window louvers, chin spoiler are from a guy i found on the net - http://www.psfhobbies.com/ and the paint is actual car paint & clearcoat i bought from www.paintscratch.com the exhaust is .25" aluminum tubing i cut-up, and then drew a mini liscense plate and printed it in color & laminated it. just get some good very fine paint brushes and a TESTOR engine detail paint kit (flat blacks, other colors)

good luck.. and i definately want to see pics!

I made a Mini-me last year (1/18 scale of course).
Had to start with a GT500 and go from there, shaker and all.
I posted pics somewhere on these boards...
Was fun to build and cheaper than the real thing, lol.
