Default Replica of my car

In this thread I will be tracking my build of a plastic model of my car and you can all follow along to either see a great finished product or an epic fail. If it turns out well I figured if there is a market for it I may take orders for projects. Don't worry, I can prove I'm legit if needed... lol. Don't want another replica fiasco on our hands!

ha ha, thanks for the interest folks. I took about 4 hours tonight and painted a lot of the individual parts. I also put a few of the peices together but I'm mostly trying to get all of the painting out of the way. I will have pics up at the latest tomorrow night, but if I wake up early enough before work I'll post some up then.

Early notes: The red I got does not match the red of my car, its a tad too orange. From the looks of it, I'll have about 7-10 hours invested in the actual production part of this piece, but that's not including glue/paint drying time.

If the results turn out good I should be able to do several basic customizations to the GT models of peoples vehicles, and next time I'm at the hobby shop I'm going to check out a kit where I think I could custom craft up some pieces (replica of the trufiber GTS-4 hood? or a cowl hood? hmmmmm )

For curiosities sake, if this turns out not to be an epic fail and there is a demand for it, what would you pay for a plastic model of YOUR car?
