It's been awhile since I read up on forced induction and cam profiles that work with them. But if I am remembering correctly, such a cam is cut with high opening and closing rates with little LSA. The LSA is not needed because you are not relying on the air's mass to move it ( which NA relies on). The boost pressure does the work for moving the air.

I also think that the cam lobes are not as fat and do not stay open as wrong. They might have shorter durations.

As I said, it's been a long time since I read up on all this so someone correct me where I am wrong.

Hi,

i write from germany and my english is very bad because its a long time ago when i was at school and learn it. i have a question and i hope anybody can help me because in germany we dont have a good blog for mustang drivers.

i have installed the FRPP Hot Rod Cams and now i install the Rouch M90 Supercharger. The mechanic from roush tell me all another tunes on my pcm going lost when he calibrate it for the M90. what happens when i have the m90 tune but no tune for the cams? motor damage? some drive problems? or give it a tune witch i can have for booth of this parts?

Hi McM1984, you really should get a tune that includes the M90
and the Hot Rod cams. No motor damage if you only have the
M90 tune, but it probably will not run as smoothly.

you'll want FI cams for it, or extremely mild N/A cams. If you start going wild with overlapping N/A cams, you can cause serious problems with an FI system.
