BRAKE PADEL FEELS WEIRD.
So how many miles before the brake pads need to be replaced. The brake pedal feels a little low and my braking doesn't feel as strong. I have 55,000 miles with my share of high speed stops. Just need to pull the tires off and check them out, just wondering what the average life of these factory pads are...

There are too many variables to make a call on miles on a set of brake pads. I lived in Blackwood many years ago and my guess is that you're doing a good bit of stop-n-go so I'd have getting them checked put on my things-to-do list, or check them yourself. IMO, on the cars that I've owned, about 40k-60k around town and about 100k-175k on those that saw more highway and rural driving.

I found your problem you're running a brake padel you should be running the ford brake pedal. I'm just messing around.. your braking would feel different in general if it was pads, it could do with the actual pedal if that is all that has changed.

So...you lived in Blackwood huh? Now MS...man your all over the place! Yeah...plenty of stop and go. Maybe I'll just through some new pads on. Gonna be due soon...

Yeah... Philly, then Monroe, Michigan, then Manahawkin, NJ then Blackwood, NJ then Sewell, NJ then Lancaster, PA then York, PA then Hellam, PA then Paducah, KY then Lake Zurich, Illinois and now armpit... I mean,... Vicksburg, MS.
Have your pads checked. They may only need an adjustment and may still have plenty of life left.

If you have 55k on your brakes, and have never checked your fluid, it may be time to change it out. If you are doing high speed braking, you may want to switch to ATE superblue fluid or at least some of the ford heavy duty stuff. Some hard mountain driving or consecutive high speed stops can boil the fluid in these cars. Check the pads first though, since that is the easiest thing to do.

Some of you might find this hard to believe, but with 52k on my car I went thru 3 sets already and am half way done with the 4th one. First one was OEM, then there was 2 Hawk sets, and now I have the Duralast Ceramic set from Auto Zone lol (I tried to go with Hawk again and bought a set, but 5 out of 8 retainers were not even attached to the back of the pads like they are supposed to be so I said if this is the quality they offer then I don't want to deal with them anymore). Planning on getting the GT500 brake kit soon.

Do as others said, but also I suggest taking a look at your brake discs as well. Does the car pull in a certain direction when braking, or is it a sudden/uneven pressure sometimes? Or do they just feel spongy?
