I have a 2011 V6 with the 2.73 gears. I can get a 3.55 geared rear axle out of a 2011 GT for a pretty good price, cheaper than having someone change the gears in mine. :-)

I'm pretty sure the GT rear will bolt right in, but I'll have to use my original brakes. Will they swap? What about the driveshaft, will it mate up?

your car uses the same rear brakes as the gt the same 8.8" rearend and the same transmission. The driveshaft I'm not sure man to be honest as the 5.0 may use a different length of shaft. I would say all you need is a different flange to make it happen?
I could be wrong though. I also have 3.55 frpp gears waiting on install money in my garage got a pony logo engine cover, 2010 gt strut tower bar&jlt cf cai for sale if you know anyone interested? have em pm me lol
