No I understand your question. Verts don't hate me this is just my opinion
I think verts look great with the top down and one of those bars, but with the top up I just don't like the lines that the top makes.
I agree with you on that, but the newer ones do a better job of keeping the lines than previous models.
I also think adding T-tops or a sunroof would bring down the value of the car over time. I was looking for Grand Nationals a few summers ago and skipped over all the ones with the T-tops and sunroofs. Didn't want to get involved in that, because once they get older, they leak.

This is a stupid issue of mine, but it seems like when you drive a vert, especially one like a Mustang and the top is down, people stare. I don't think I could stand that.
As a 'vert lover, I don't hate you, I understand a choice. You should get what pleases YOU - I did.
A convertible without the noise or wind - is not a convertible.
LOL.
Never really a fan of the glass roof. With black hair, the last thing I needed was more hot sun. Even though it was tinted and has a shade, I can still feel it through the tint on a hot summer day.
I'd love to have the glass roof but for 2k or whatever it costs, I'll pass. A sunroof would be nice but I don't want to deal any possible leaks or decrease in rigidity.
You shouldnt have a problem with rigidity. If you ever remove your healiner you will see that there is practically nothing but a thin peice of sheet metal up there (except around the perimeter)
And any decent shop should be able to prevent leaking
