If it were me,

I would shop around a little bit more. I bought my 2007 GT Premium for $17,5xx from Carmax with 35,3xx on the odometer.

24k for a 2009 model seems a bit steep to me.

I would go for the 09 man, It's stock and pretty much a blank slate for you to do your own mods to, but the 24k is just a starting point for negotiations, but with gas prices right now i'm, sure you could talk the salesman LOW

You can get a new 2010 gt leftover for around 22k, I wouldn't pay more then 19k for the 09 or 18k for the 08.

The 08's Wheels are ugly. I would go with the 09 or find a used gt500, there are plenty for sale now under 30k

You still see a lot of pre-owned GT's listed around $22-24k. They are hoping to catch some idiot who didn't do their research. You can haggle much less. Also as mentioned above, with this current economy and gas prices, the market is dwindling on buyers.

Thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it. I think I'm leaning towards the black 09 or the silver 2010 that someone else posted up. Going to go check them out today and I'll definitely try to down the price...

Here's the link to the 2010 - Click Here

Good luck. Post pics when you end up pulling the trigger on a Stang.

That 2010's previous owner was/is a member of this board. He traded it in for a Mini Cooper.
