All that is true. I was thinking that because the vehicle is a Mustang, it should be easy to find stock wheels'n'tires for sale to replace the 'wheels you hate'. It is more work regardless if one can cash out or pay more compared to buying a car with better wheels, but that should not be a factor when ruling out a particular used Mustang was my point.

If you don't like a customized car exactly the way it sits, whatever it takes to change every existing mod that isn't to your own taste around to your liking should be figured into the deal. For example, $20k for the car - $500 selling wheels you hate + $1k for wheels you do like + $100 mounting & balancing = $20600, and that's assuming that you can keep the tires. Figure more like $21k if you let the tires go with the wheels and buy new ones.
