i just finished my whipple 550 hp kit tonight and test drove it for about 30 miles. only thing i can say about the kb is that i have heard lots of good things, and i went with the whipple for the dual fuel pumps and and the great customer service. i started the install on thursday night and finished about 4 hours ago everything went together perfect very easy kit to install and everything is the highest quality. The power is unreal didn't think it would be that big of a difference.

I went back and forth between Whipple, Saleen and KB for months before I finally pulled the trigger on a Whipple. I sought out people who had them to get real world reviews and in-person impressions. First let me say, they are ALL excellent kits. You will be happy no matter which you choose. I ultimately chose the Whipple over the Saleen and KB. The Saleen didn't have the ultimate power potential of the KB or Whipple, so it was first off the list. I may never attempt to build a motor and run 20+ psi, but it's nice to know I can. I decided against the KB after seeing one in action at the drag strip. It performed great, but heat soaked terribly. The guy who owned it was waiting almost 45 minutes between runs and it was still hot to the touch. I also like that Whipple includes a dual fuel pump assembly in their kit rather than a boost-a-pump.
