Did they give you a written quote that states all of the parts they will replace? Did they price out the parts? Did they say replacing the control arms would fix the problem?

What parts are they replacing? This past Saturday I dropped by the shop that I use when I don't have time to replace something myself. Took him about an hour to swap my stock rear LCA with the J&M HotPart LCA and I paid him $75 for the mechanic's time and use of the lift. They cost around $100 for the LCA's from HotPart at American Muscle
