Holy ****, just got done installing the parts
Just got done with my first phase of mods... UPR upper and lower rear control arms, Roush axle backs, Airaid CAI and an SCT X3 w/ Bama tunes (91 street, performance and race). Total time for install was about 2 1/2 to 3 hours for everything. Holy **** is all I have to say. This car is a different animal. I am currently running the Street tune. I was a little worried at first because when I drove it after installing the tune it felt like it was hesitating in the lower RPMs, maybe from 1500-3000 RPMs. I reloaded the stock tune, and loaded the street tune back in and it was doing the same thing. With out jumping to the conclusion that it was a bad tune I decided to drive and put some miles on it and it seems like the computer must have adjusted itself because it is getting better. It's pretty much gone now. Is this normal? I am having to completely re-learn how to drive this car. Only put maybe 15 miles on it tonight. I'm going to go do some interstate runs later and see if I can't get pulled over haha. I need to get ahold of Bama and have them include the ghost idle in my programming. Forgot all about it when I ordered my stuff. Next up is going to be a set of 15" drag wheels and some drag radials. Dyno numbers to come soon!

yeah I started with the 87 street tune but the 91 race is awesome. I think I need to reload the 87 tho cause I am either getting used to the new throttle response and power or something is wrong.
The does feel totally different after the CAI+Tune tho....its amazing what it does.

Glad you're enjoying all of your new found power . I never thought I'd enjoy my own tune as much as I do either. Plus you just can't beat chirping the tires as you roll through a few gears. It's incredible how much power these engines are able to put out without any modification other than a change of programming.
I think I might have to go Bama for a ghost tune just to see what it's like, I run brenspeed right now and I'm happy with it, but I just love that lopey idle.
