2010 GT Power Steering Pump
Lately my car has been making a loud whining noise every now and then when I turn. Today it did it longer than usual so I popped the hood and noticed that my power steering fluid was below the MIN. mark. I checked and there aren't any leaks anywhere, so I took the cap off and I could smell burnt fluid so I'm assuming my power steering pump is dying, luckily im still under warranty so I was wondering would the dealership try and void my warranty since I have a JLT CAI and Bama 93 tune on it?

Nope, unless the way you installed your CAI somehow managed to FUBAR your PS pump (next to impossible) they can't invalidate your warranty. But if you're really worried about it, just slap the stock airbox back in and return the engine to stock.

Oh damn I didn't realize that was the case with the JLTs... were hose extensions involved? I'd check your lines for leaks at any joints because if in fact it is leaking from your lines you may be in a bit of trouble.

no hose extensions needed and i checked all hoses for leaks but i found nothing wrong. do you think it would just be better to reinstall the factory intake & tune and have the dealership fix it?
