I will have to throw my hat in with axle exchange. O have not bought one from them but most of my friends have and they praise them. And because of this I will order one from them when I get around to buying one.

whats the weight differance between the 2011 5.0 d/s & the alum d/s? I know on my 06 it was considerable,40ish lbs if I remember? And it shaved 2-3 tenths off my E.Ts (spyder shaft by ron leonard. He used to be on here quite often).

That's what I went with, and everybody I know who has bought one has too. I called David at Shaftmasters on a Friday asking him how long it would be until he could ship me an axle for my car, he said not long. My axle shipped the following Monday! Great service to match his quality workmanship. Good luck.

Depending on which shaft you buy, you could save up to 35lbf I think.
I cannot remember the stock weight of the 2011 D/S, but it is a pretty heavy two-piece unit. Its heavy weight hurts overall acceleration by hurting gross weight of your car and also rotational acceleration.

Bought mine from shaftmasters. Stock was 38.8lbs, aluminum was 18.5lbs.

Also makes the driveline feel "tighter", kind of hard to explain.
