You can just use the bag avacados come in, it's that same nylon mesh, I always have one around. Gets the bugs off and doesn't scratch

I used to detail cars for a living when I was in my late teens, early 20s. Had a successful business doing so...

Anyways, for that, I used to use a fabric softner pad. Grab a Downy pad and dump it in soapy water. Scrub away lightly. When you're done though, wash it one more time with soapy water and a sponge in order to remove the residue from the scents. Its lightly abrasive but won't swirl up your clear and works the bugs magically.

I drive from Jacksonville NC to Florida quite often and this time of year, the Love-Bugs are GOD AWFUL!!! So if you're taking a long road trip and you know you're gonna be A) driving through central Florida, B) gonna be driving at night or C) gonna be in a bug infested area, spray some PAM on your bumper and headlights. The bugs will come right off with ease. Just make sure you wash your car when you get to your destination.

Also, a little note, if you have hard water stains on your mirrors or windows, try using toothpaste. Lightly abrasive, but won't swirl or etch your glass.

I use my wheel cleaner which does an awesome job. I spray the front of my car down with it and the wheels. Fill my bucket up with soap and water and start washing. That amount of time gives the cleaner enough time to soak into the bugs juices and break it down. And only use a terry cloth when i wash and the bugs are gone

I totally agree with this...I never wash my cars either...they get dusted before and after each trip out and sprayed down with Meguires Ultimate Quick Wax or Detailer each time...I have the entire fronts filmed and the bugs come off very easily...

Not a daily driver, take it out about once a week. I dust the car after every drive (California Duster), and then use the Pinnacle spray detailed on the bugs. They wipe right off....it's expensive stuff though. I also wax the car about twice a year.

Clay bar or simple green with a 2 or 3:1 mix spray, let soak for a minute or two and wipe off. Don't forget to rewax the area.

Turtle Wax's bug and tar remover does the trick. I wash front bumper once a month. Then again I rarely drive when sun is going down and bugs are out like a mofo.

Mine is a daily driver (unfortunately) on a 30-mile round-trip to work and back. I spray the front daily to remove even a hint of bugs; I get a couple minutes of car wash action for a dollar, so it's worth it to me.

If I do any kind of road tripping, I put a two-piece bra on the car (I know, I know...but I just can't stand the thought of bug gut damage).
