At least you know you won't have any gearbox issues with the 2010

I got a 2010 because of the 0% financing on it when I got it and I absolutely love my car an all but if I had to do it again I would 10000000% get the 5.0... this is just my input though, many others may not feel the need for the extra 100hp, or you could just take the money you save from buying the 10' and get a super charger and have more than a 5.0

FRPP also has a kit for the 3v 4.6L 05-2010 that is a pair of heads, cams, intake, TB, and CAI that is supposed to make 400 Flywheel power too. It's around $4K-5K for the kit. That way you can stay NA and add a blower later too. I don't remember the kit number.

Found it.. 4K and it's 425 Flywheel HPhttp://www.fordracingpartsdirect.com...m-fr4-s197.htm

Save for a little longer and pick up a 11-12. like ive said before. u buy a 10 for 20 and put a 6k supercharger on it, you could have just bought a 11 for 27-28...keep lookin...

Go for it. They are a great buy, beautiful, and still quick. Plus you can make the 4.6 a monster. I'm sure you wouldn't have any regrets. And I doubt many people use the 400+ HP daily anyway.

including the price of my car, i bought it Dec '09 so it would be MUCH cheaper now, i have spent roughly 36k on my car w/ mods. i am at about 500 HP, lighter than an '11, and can certainly out handle an '11.

would i rather have the higher revving, incredibly responsive 5.0? i dont know. im too busy having fun with my car to think about it

I seriously lol'ed when I saw the title thread. But then I got disappointed knowing that it's not a onegoal thread
