Default Installed Chevron Fading stripes this past weekend

It was my first time installing a decal on my car. I cleaned the area and then used a bottle to keep the area nice and wet and stuck the decal on. I wasnt sure how long to let dry so I waited 15 minutes and that wasnt enough time. So I waited about 30 minutes and that allowed me to remove the wrap away from the first decal but the fading decal took longer to dry and stick. So I used a blow dryer and that seemed to work. I had the small saleen letters to follow the chevron stripes but I broke the A so I ordered new Saleen decals. I think I will have a handle on it now. patience is key. I had researched to see how long to let them dry and I couldnt find an answere so it was kind of a seek and destroy mission. Here is a pic.

Plus I installed mud flaps. I was very hesitant but with the wider tires its certainly helped keeping the car cleaner. I put those on b/c i was noticing more paint chips on the side while washing. there almost unnoticeable

the pic has my fence in it as I was doing that all weekend long too.

That's a nice touch...looks good bro. I'm personally antichrome anymore, but love to look at others that can make it work (and polish it).
Nicely done!

Thanks man! I know not many like the chrome look much anymore. I certainly try to keep on top of the wheels as far as them lookin clean. It really bugs me when I see someone with chrome wheels and there just so dirty and probably never get polished.

Looks great! Nice touch!

I'm a fan of fading rocker stripes. I replaced the pony package stripes with some fading stripes a week or so after when bought our 2006. They still look good after more than 4 years.
