Thanks for the link. Looks like Dallas has no Ethanol free stations. That blows. I had a 93 race tune that knocked and would have liked to have known whether it was the gas or the tune. I guess I'll have to get out of the Metroplex to try it.

You're very fortunate. Most of the sites that I "stumble" on are **** sites...

none in MA...not to sound like a moron, when clearly it's good that we would put ethanol free gas in our car, or you wouldn't post this...but what exactly does it do?

Ethanol has a lower BTU content (and some other parameters that I can't recall that are also critical) and will reduce performance. The other PITA problem is that it'll reduce fuel mileage, depending on the % ethanol. I've made many long distance trips with the identical driving style (cruise control from pump to pump, same speed) and getting fuel from the same gas stations and have recorded fuel mileage drops of up to 4 MPG. The stations never know if they're filling their tanks with 1% or 10% or even higher ethanol.

Thanks for the link...

Well, that blows.. none near me... What's really sad is that all the pumps near me say that their gas may contain **upto** 15%... That's quite a bit in my opinion...

Yep, they approved the increase from 10% to 15%. Our local coast guard aux. is up in arms because you will not be able to fill up your boats and watercraft at the pump. You will have to fill them at the docks which are ethanol free. And god forbid you don't treat ethanol fuels before you store it. If you thought pure gas would screw you, E10 will straight f up your stuff.
