Clutch slipping?
#11
Update: I did several more test today and my clutch seems to be working fine. I drove up a slope going 40 miles an hour and put it into 5th gear, and when I punched it, the RPMS went up slow, same speed as the MPH increased. I did the same thing on the highway and the results were the same. Any ideas on what could cause the lag? I recently cleaned my throttle body and Mass Air Sensor to see if anything changes.

OK, I will change out my fuel filter and see if it changes anything.
Eddie, I recently disconnected the negative battery to clean my TB and Mass air sensor. I also reinstalled a different tune to see if it would change anything, but no luck.

Kevin, have you ever changed your fuel filter in the past? I am thinking that could possibly be your problem. I know when I changed mine around 30k I felt a noticeable difference in throttle response.

Changed out the fuel filter this evening. I only drove the car a little this evening and the throttle response definitely feels better and I did not feel any lag thus far. I will be able to check it out more during my drive to work and back. I hope this did the trick!!! Thanks man!

Only downfall, on occasion, I am still experiencing a small lag in 2nd gear and into 3rd gear. It could possibly be the clutch...
