06's are coming in fast!
I ordered my 06 Vista Blue 5spd GT on 8/22, and it got VIN'd yesterday! The build date is scheduled for 9/19! Thats freakin awesome! The dealer said I should get it around 2 weeks after the build date. Im not sure what my priority code was, but I hope everyone has the same "luck" with their 06's.

You must be from the South.. We seem to be in agony up in the North with very few 06s being delivered. Strangly, it seems that a lot of dealers here got late deliveries of 05s to tide them over. I know the dealer I have my order through got a shipment of 5 (3GT convs) in mid August.

Im in VA about an hour from NC....Yeah that's what I understand, the northern states are getting shafted on the wait for their GT's. I was surprised that the dealer didnt try to mark it up on me, are they trying up there?

I ordered mine on 8-17, build date is 9-05 and hopefully here by 10-01.
My dealer quoted me sticker, but finally got him to knock of a few dollars. I am in NC and the only real hold up is the truck from the rail head at Greensboro to the coast.
The dealer is only allocated 1-2 Gt's on average a week.

There are a lot of dealers up here charging from $3K to $5K above sticker. Luckly my delaer is only charging the sticker price. I guess that is why I am sticking with them. That, and I have been unable to find any GTs that were exactly what I wanted, so I had a hard time paying $3k over sticker for a 05 that I really didn't want

Is GSO where they come off the trains? The dealership i ordered from (my car is almost certainly built by now) is about 20 miles north of Greensboro on Interstate 220. So if what you're saying is true then thats good news for me
. The last few days are the worst. Expecially when you arent sure what your delivery date is.

I ordered a 2005 V6 in July, but, of course, that was too late and the build was cancelled. Fortunately, my 2006 'Stang just arrived on Monday (the 435th 2006 Mustang to be built in the U.S.) !!! I love it so much.... Good luck to everyone who has ordered one; it is DEFINITELY worth the wait!!!

My dealer got ONE last year...5 cancelled. they have not gotten a GT in 8 months...
Mine is their first 06, sold order,priority 10, still not vin'd 38 days later.
