I haven't looked at the new colors for 2012... why is that called Lava Red when it looks like Black?
Is there a tone that the digital camera isn't picking up?

Guess I gotta go to Ford.com and find out what's going on!

That really is a classy colour. Very nice. Found this pic on the net, shows the red a little more. Shes gotta be a beauty in the right lighting conditions..

That pic is totally photo-shopped. It doesnt look like that in any light. now if you stip away the black on top maybe that is what the undercoat looks like. I will get some better pics soon.

Definitely a sweet color! Probably a limited run. Your pictures don't show too much red, but it probably changes with the lighting. Welcome to the mustang community!
