Default what would better serve my needs at the track

So i have the stage 2 saleen supercharger and making around 438 to the wheels and I have MT's hangin off the rear. My 60 times were a nice 1.8 and trapping at 108 for a 12.5. DA corrected at 12.3.

I have two different scenarios that i need to choose from.

1- I could get a 3000 stall at 500 dollars (maybe a DS)

or

2- Upgrade to Stage 3 kit that would be put me around 455hp I think this upgrade is around 1400

So if u guys that track your cars which would u do over the other. Im kind of leaning towards the torque converter. As I think I could cut .2 to .5 off my times. Im unaware of what the stage 3 upgrade could do to my times.

I posted this in the track section but wasnt sure how much traffic was there for this kind of question.

thanks

i would do the stall, DS. i think this will get you a better time vs the SC upgrade, if its only good for about 20 rwhp.

So i think u can get more out of the upgrade of the saleen but i still have a stock block so im not to interested in pushing. I do plan on getting a built motor in a few years. But the saleen i have on there now peaks at 3000rpms so I beleive a stall (3000) will best serve me here. I agree with u man thanks

If you have the brenspeed stage 2, it will cost less than $300 to upgrade to stage 3. You will only need to buy the 3.4" pulley ($50) and a BAP ($230). I run 12.0 seconds with a stage 3 and street tires. That should meet your needs.

You'll launch harder with either option, but you'll trap higher with the 2nd one as well as ET better.

I'd do the stall and driveshaft first.
