Default New Throttle Body worth the price?

Looking to mod my 2011 GT 5.0 and just saw this add for the L&M 82mm Throttle Body.
It says it increases up to 10 rwhp and 25 rwtq without tune.
Is this correct or just hype?
Anyone have any experience?
Thanks

Generally aftermarket TBs don't do anything unless you're heavily modified and/or using some sort of F/I. Ported and polished TBs have been proven to free up a few hp

I doubt that they'd put the 5.0 out with a throttle body that is choking it enough in stock form to rob it of that kind of power. I wouldn't consider it for a second without at least seeing dyno sheets from a reputable shop to back it up.

For a 3v, correct

He does not have a 3v, on the 5.0's they can be worth while with boltons

I agree but we have little data on the 5.0 with regards to aftermarket TB's. I'm skeptical but open to the possibility.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong which is entirely possible. But if the OP is just now starting to mod, regardless of the gains, I'd tell him to wait, unless he's buying it all as a package and can confirm it's worthwhile. How much are they asking for the TB OP?

I could be completely wrong too haha

I think the L&M is $400 and no tune required with stock drive-ability.
