I'd be happy with an M90, even though it's a 'small' blower. However, where do I need to look to get it for $3000? The only places I've found them are at retail(roush, ebay, etc).

Show me a kit with 450hp at the rear wheels for $3500 or close to it. The GT500 adapter will cost about that after you buy everything you need.

You could always get one of these for a little more than your budget

it's pretty much a late gen Cobra style blower (M112) and more capable than the M90.

You'll eventually need a larger heat exchanger down the line if you upgrade the pullies for 10 psi.. people are making great power with these units on another Mustang site.

Also, take note on their advice on removing the washer behind the idler pulley as well as using an upgraded belt tensioner. It's been known to be a real "belt shredder".

stealth, did you decide to keep your setup? I saw you asking about the valet mode I think?

Anyway, My end goal is ~430 rwhp. I figure most kits can put me close if not over pretty easily. From what I understand, at ~450 rwhp you start risking things messing up, and I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Yeah, I decided to keep it.. it's so easy to take on and off that I decided to save myself the money.

Seriously considered a 2012 Dodge Charger AWD/RT 5.7 but from what I hear, the 2011-2012 PCMs are real bastards to hack into and tune. Since I planned a Supercharger for that car, I will sit tight and wait to see what happens later on before I jump on that car.

450 is the safe number floating around the web, but some have made as much as 525whp and average around 480-490whp. 450lbs. torque is supposedly the real number, since torque being the more force behind the two. If I were you, I'd be patient and wait it out rather than being hasty and going on a budget.

The M90 is a fun supercharger. Lots of low end grunt even compared to the Centri's endless top end..

That magnacharger that you posted lists its install time as less than a day. is it that easy to install?

Pretty much your basic positive displacement blower set up; Top mount unit, front end assembly pulley set up, degas coolant bottle/canister routing, IAT sensor wiring..

doesn't get more basic than that, other than a centri air to air set up..

M90 might be a small blower but its big on fun. I don't have the smaller pulley and still running in the 12.2's. With that pulley I'm in the 11's. Its a great safe blower. I do have a new DS to install.....so my numbers will only get better.
Wait for a good kit OP. Don't slap one together.

I have about $700 put aside now and when I start back to work I should be able to afford a used kit within a month or two.
