You love it but you don't like the raspy tin can sound? The rasp won't go away......that's the nature of an x pipe. And yes the stock cats are defanetly keep it quiet

yeah i meant i like the loudness of it, but not the rasp. Thats why im changing it

And man with those SLP's that thing is gonna be stupid loud.......Much louder than the flows are now just an fyi

hey bro do not get the flowmasters if you already have them sell them! get pypes "pype bomb system" or their super system they sound amazing! its a mid muffler setup instead of axle back.. if you dont want that the pype bomb is the way to go! or slp loudmouth no blowmasters dude

I've had all the set-ups with the Flows. O/R X, High Flow Catted X, O/R H, High Flow Catted H, and ofcourse the stock H. I agree with others, the X is too raspy without cats for most people's tastes, including mine (and it's VERY loud). The Catted X sounded awesome - just too quiet at part throttle for me. I do like the O/R H flows setup. I occasionally toy with the idea of switching because it too is raspy and loud but I've had it for a few years and I like it enough to stick with it until the mild steel rusts through.

Don't do it, I have the setup. It sounds good at idle and when you floor it. Around 3000 RPMs is when the sound goes bad. I've been wanting to change the mid pipe for a couple years, just don't have the time.
