When people give a 'safe' rwhp/tq number, which dyno are they pulling from?

I just thought about this. If the general safe number not to exceed is 450 whp(I know it varies from car to car, but it seems to be a good number), is that from a mustang dyno or a dynojet? Being as 450 whp on a dynojet would be 400 ish on a mustang dyno, I'd like to know.

I definitely have a lot of questions lol. I'm just trying to factor everything in and get all the knowledge I can so I have it when I need it. I need some street radials too but I dont really know what size to put in the 18x9 rims I have.

Don't trust all those hp numbers...too many variables, including machine type and operator. You also won't know how those high powered stangs are used. 500 rwhp on a car that occasionally goes into the boost is not the same as 500 on a car that is dragraced often on a prepped surface (not street).

5.0 magazine had an article on a Procharged V6 on Prochargers Mustang dyno that hit like 410-415rwhp (dont remember exact #). They took it to another local shop with a Dynojet, and pushed 438rwhp. This was done on the same day, so very little ambient temperature difference.
My car was on ProChargers same dyno and hit 459rwhp. Earlier this year it was on a different shops dynojet than what 5.0 used, and I hit 487 on that one. Outside temp varied by about 40 degrees with the higher temp on Prochargers dyno, vs colder temp on dynojet.
But in short, yes different dynos of the same type can show different numbers, depending on how they got calibrated. It would also be logical to assume that they would probably be within +/- 5hp of each other though. Kinda like the mail order canned tunes. They have gotten the programming down pat for everyone. practice makes perfect.

I am excited about the tuner I'm going to have do the tuning.
I know I make a lot of topics, so in an effort to stop doing this I'm going to post another questions here. Is there anything wrong with FRPP Fuel injectors? These 47 lb ev14 ones to be precise:

With the forum discount, I can get them for about $240 plus shipping, so it's the best deal I've found online. I just want to make sure these have a good reputation.
