How the hell most of you all can afford to dress 'em up so extensively, S/C, have spare beater cars, and still keep your house is beyond me though. Beginnin' to think ya'll worked for Enron, or are bank CEO's...

Of course we don't get shots of the yards and such at home, so maybe the homes look like they came out of the grapes of wrath with 12 buckets and duct tape for roof leaks.. ya never know..
In my case, no spare beater cars at all, the 'stang is my only personal car (though not exactly a daily driver, I have a company car for work travel at least). No Bank CEO level income either (humble computer/IT tech) just careful shopping around, doing the vast majority of the work myself and great patience.

Thanks again to all for the support

How so?
You even see people joining Forums sometimes, solely to vote for their buddies.
And they never post again...

Well I went and voted. To be fair I dislike the older mustangs, post '70-pre '05, and I have a soft spot for gt500s or gt500 clones so yours happened to be my vote

I'm right with you on the era thing. '70 and before and '05 up are the ones that get me going too. I can certainly admire the performance of the Foxes, SN-95 and New Edge cars, but the looks just don't grab me the way the classics and the newer retro inspired models do.

Thanks for the support

I posted this comparison elsewhere, but thought it would be interesting to add here too. From bone stock in '05 to today (engine, suspension, interior, etc mods not shown of course).

Why do I suddenly feel like I need some rest?
