Help needed regarding Pre-Owner / Mustang GT 2007 in Germany!
Hello everyone,
last year in march i bought a 2007 Mustang GT in Germany from a Car Dealer in Düsseldorf.
The car looked good, the AutoCheck (i have no carfax) report was ok and everything looked fine. After a while i found out, that the car was completely new painted in whole rear area. Both sides until the doors, the trunk lid, the engine hood and the roof.
Now everything is in work by a lawyer, because the car is in my opinion not accident free (vandalism or something else is also possible) Im sueing the Seller to get money back, because the car is not the same worth as without damages.
The AutoCheck vehicle report (1 Pre Owner in Ohio) was clean and the car was sold on an auction in florida.
Is it possible to find the pre owner to contact and ask him what happened to the car? I think that the painting works are made without reporting it to AutoCheck.

Maybe here in this forum is someone who can help me to find out what happens to the car! It is very important to me!

No. Another user just had a run-in with the company he bought his car from because they used Auto-check and it looked fine, but he used a carfax and it showed that the odometer had been run back. I'll link you to the thread.

In Germany i post my threads in the "dr-mustang" forum. I think that you know it. There are a lot of regional meetings of forum members.
Sometimes im also very interested in reading the american forums. Last month i made a roundtrip in florida for 3 weeks with my wife. It was great. Alltogether i stood around 8 times in my life in the United States (Florida, California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah for holidays. The next trip i want to realize is a roundtrip in Texas. I love to travel around in the States. My wife and me are big fans of the USA.
