Default Spoiler Store GT500 spoiler issue

Hey everyone.

My GT500 spoiler from The Spoiler Store that I purchased 2 1/2-3 years ago has a problem. I first noticed it about a month ago when I was washing my car. It seemed to have begun all of a sudden. Basically, it looks like the clear coat was coming off and the top of the spoiler was becoming discolored. The appearance can be likened to cars that never get waxed. When I was washing my car this evening, I noticed that on a couple spots, there appear to be air bubbles underneath the clear coat. Here are a couple photos:

Is this something that's in any way fixable? I have a feeling that it isn't. Does The Spoiler Store offer any kind of warranty? I doubt this should be happening. I don't park my car in a garage since there are none at my townhome complex, but I do wash and care for my car regularly. I do shudder at the thought of having to remove it. I imagine that'd be a tough process.

The Spoiler Store has a 3 year warranty on the paint. Just contact them about your issue and they will let you know what to do.

I have the same issue with my spoiler except mine is 2 months past the warranty period. They offered to repaint it for me for a reasonable amount, but then I would have to pay for shipping both ways and have no spoiler on my car until I get it back. I will probably just purchase another spoiler brand new from them and replace my old one - cost about the same.

They might replace it. If not, you just should buy a new one. Getting it repainted is more expensive.

Bingo! But if for some reason they don't you can always ask/flirt with your local paint shop

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'm going to give them a call and see if I can send it in. If worst comes to worse and they can't replace it or I have to have it repainted, at least I still have my stock pedestal spoiler.
Anyone know what the easiest way to remove it will be? I'm dreading the thought of that what with all the double sided tape unerneath it.
